James Jewell over at The Rooftop Blog has a very thoughtful post today on the controversy surrounding the California school district that has tried to ban references to God as well as using the Declaration of Independence and other founding documents in teaching history. James has taken the time to analyze exactly what motivates those who wish to eradicate references to God from public life. It's well worth reading.
